Sonic Triptych III-NY (2007)

Sonic Triptych III is a sound event for multiple, interwoven sets of 3 performers situated in a triptych - left, center, right. Performers are instructed to represent themselves through sound-producing actions of their choice as a means of facilitating participatory and collaborative action. For the NY version, Matterlink (James Schneider) did his vampling (live video sampling). Previous versions of Sonic Triptych were presented at Telic Arts Exchange (2007), Illuminated Corridor (2006) and Ladyfest Bay Area (2002).
